Gus is a handsome young Staffy who came to us for rehoming due to a baby in the home being unwell, meaning that Gus wasn’t getting the time and attention he deserved.He’s a lovely, friendly boy! He loves people but can be a little shy with strangers initially.. once he is used to people, he’s very enthusiastic about saying hello! He’s not really used to children, and we think he might be better suited to a home with slightly older children who can get involved with his care.Gus is choosy about his doggy friends! He’s great with some dogs, and has spent time in a doggy daycare.. but then seems to take a dislike to others – he tends to prefer females. He’s never lived with another dog, and chases cats. He is said to be okay around horses.Gus is crate trained, and has been used to being left for a few hours. He’s had some basic training, but seems to keen to please, and would definitely love to learn more! He can be fearful of fireworks and other loud noises.He’s an active chap – he loves...
