14 month old sprocker in foster near Grantham, Lincolnshire. HAMISH has had a troubled start in life and is a UK relinquishment. He was an only dog and it has been clear from the outset, this boy needs company and a playmate. He hasn't put a paw wrong in his foster home. He is extremely well trained (house trained, sit, stay, recall) and my shadow around the house, when not playing with the gang. He loves being with other dogs, was initially interested in cats, but after a few weeks he has lost his interest (so dog savvy cat would probably be suitable) and loves human cuddles. We have instigated some boundaries (not allowed on furniture, doesn't go upstairs), which has not caused any issues, he listens very well. One of the issues was resource guarding, not exhibited when in foster, but to this end, we are looking for a home without children (or visiting). He will need an experienced spaniel home where he can use his body and brain (scentwork, mantrailing, canicross etc) with other dog...
