Harry

Meet Harry! Harry is a very scared and timid boy. When he first came into us he was terrified and a bit growly. The staff have taken their time with him and have now gained his trust and he has shown himself to be a lovable little character. He can still be timid with sudden movements but has come on leaps and bounds. The one thing Harry really doesn’t like are his visits to the vet, he does get very agitated and fearful. The staff are working with him on this and getting him used to being touched all over and this is something the new adopter would have to continue with him to enable him to be more easily examined. We are looking for a quiet home for Harry where he will be given plenty of time to build his confidence and get used to his new environment. Previous experience with a very nervous chihuahua would be an advantage.Harry has interacted with other dogs whilst in our care and isn’t too bothered with them so we feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where he c...
