Hello. It’s Herbie here, 3 years old, very handsome, excellent lap companion and this tiny blur attempting to pounce on my tail is my daughter Matilda, who is 1 year old and firmly believes she is in charge of everything. We’re a devoted little father-and-daughter pair of classic Chihuahuas who found ourselves in rescue when our owners had to leave the country and couldn’t take us along. We were loved, and we still have so much love to give. We absolutely dote on each other, we nap curled up together, groom each other, and enjoy dramatic play-wrestling matches (Matilda likes to wind me up, but I pretend I’m not impressed). We’re very sweet with people, adore attention and affection, and will happily be your tiny shadows from sofa to kitchen and back again. Yes, we have that classic Chihuahua bark and aren’t particularly fond of the postman, someone has to keep an eye on him, but underneath the yappy announcements we are friendly, loving little souls.
