Hitchcock

Personality:Hitchcock is a very sweet ex-racing greyhound. He’s a gentle soul who is taking everything at his own pace and slowly starting to come out of his shell. He enjoys his walks and will plod along beside you – though being an ex-racer he does have the occasional prey drive for all things small and fluffy! Hitchock has started to build some lovely bonds with staff and volunteers but now we can’t wait for him to find his forever sofa to curl up on! Behaviour:Like most ex-racing greyhounds Hitchcock can find wildlife and cats quite interesting and may pull towards them at times though he is doing very well learning to move on. He can be a little nervous at first with new people but he has shown us that after a few meets he will form strong bonds with his favourite people. Housing:Hitchcock would be suited to most home set-ups however potential adopters should be aware that he has never lived in a home before and so will likely need toilet training.
