Huey

Huey is bubbly and endearing Greyhound, who thinks soft and squeaky toys are the best. Huey is based at Battersea Old Windsor.During his stay, we have found that Huey is a social butterfly and loves to make new human friends. He has no issues making friends with all the staff and volunteers he has met so far but Huey can sometimes forget his manners when he says hello. He is currently working on some training to help encourage calmer interactions. Huey enjoys going for walks and likes to explore his surroundings. He would benefit from varied walking routes with plenty to sniff. At this stage in his life, Huey needs to be the only dog in the household as he is still learning to interact with non Sighthound breeds. He does have an independent side and much prefers his own company or that of calm Greyhounds. He is looking for new owners who are willing to continue his ongoing training and to help support and manage learning manners around other breeds. Huey has settled well in our offices...
