Hunter is a truly gentle giant with a heart as big as he is. This handsome Great Dane is looking for a patient and understanding new home where he can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy the happy future he deserves.When Hunter first arrived in our care, he was very nervous of new situations and found the world quite overwhelming. Thanks to the dedication of our staff team and lots of positive encouragement, his confidence is growing every day. While he is making fantastic progress, Hunter can still be a little shy at times and would be best suited to a home with adults or older teenagers who can help him feel safe and secure.As you would expect from a dog of his size, Hunter is incredibly strong. Staff have been working hard on his training, particularly around lead walking, and he has made great improvements.
