With some slow and gentle introductions, the help of soft toys and plenty of tasty treats, JP is beginning to gain in confidence and is learning that the world isn't quite so scary after all. As he becomes more comfortable, we're starting to see glimpses of the cheeky puppy hiding underneath that worried exterior. JP is looking for adopters who can commit to multiple meets at the centre, giving him the time he needs to get to know you, build trust and develop a relationship before he's ready to come home. We are unsure whether JP has ever experienced life in a home environment, so household noises and all the new sights and sounds that come with family life may initially feel a little overwhelming for him. He could potentially live with another confident and well-matched dog who can help show him the ropes and give him some reassurance as he discovers the outside world.
