Jess

Meet Jess, our beautiful Golden Retriever girl Jess is around five years old and is a quiet, settled girl who sadly hasn’t had the easiest start in life. She arrived with us in very poor condition and had clearly been used for breeding, with very little care or kindness shown to her before now. Despite that, Jess has the sweetest nature. She is loving and affectionate with the people she knows and trusts, and every day we see more of the gentle, kind girl she truly is. She can still be shy in new situations, and lead walking is something she is continuing to learn, so she will need a patient home willing to give her the time she needs to keep building confidence. Jess is confident enough to live as an only dog, but she will need a home where someone is around for a good part of the day, as she enjoys company and reassurance. She still has a little way to go, but she has already started her journey, and she is more than ready to turn the page and begin a new chapter with a family of her...
