Jess

Jess is a beautiful, affectionate girl who has made huge progress since coming to us in October. She originally came from a loving home, and was briefly adopted again, but returned when her worries and insecurities became apparent. Jess is now ready for a patient, understanding forever home that can continue to support her confidence.Since arriving, Jess has gained confidence and lost some much needed weight. She is now full of energy, enjoys her playtime in the adventure yard, and has a playful, affectionate personality once she trusts someone. She loves fuss and attention and will happily interact with people she knows, though she can be wary of strangers at first.Jess walks on a lead and enjoys her walks, although she can be strong at times and may lunge if startled. She knows basic commands like sit, wait, paw, and here, and responds well to treats. She is largely kennel clean and settles well when in a routine.
