Kimchi

26-01-26 This beautiful girl is Kimchi and she has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She arrived with us several weeks ago and has spent the last five weeks in a foster home, where she has settled in incredibly well.Unfortunately, shortly after arrival, we began to notice signs that Kimchi wasn't quite right. She was scratching more than normally expected and had stiffness on her back legs and would sometimes squint her eyes. She visited the vet and was then referred to a specialist neurologist for an MRI scan which revealed that she has a neurological condition Syringomyelia/Chiari-like malformation, which can be quite common in Cavaliers. She has started medication for this and has been responding very well, with her fosterers already noticing a big difference in her and reduced pain levels.
