KOKO is a mix of breton and setter (about springer spaniel size) and in foster near Grantham, Lincolnshire. He was rescued from Spain after abandoned. He has bowed front legs, but our Spanish and UK vets see no reason for any medical intervention, his mobility is not affected. He is living in a house with dogs and cats with no issues, but he is very people orientated and we feel he would be happier as an only resident dog. Dog savvy cats in his adoptive home would be fine. He is housetrained and happy to settle in the kitchen at night with the other foster dogs. He can take liberties (counter surfing, wiping off with the dishcloth and tea towels), so does need boundaries and someone to provide some rules! But he does listen! Quite strong on lead and harness, but settles after 15/20 mins into the walk. Can be a little reactive to some dogs, when walking but distraction tactics work and he is getting more settled.
