Lacey

23-03-26 Lacey is a worried but very sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder and has had very little experience of the world. She can feel overwhelmed and will often freeze when approached, as she is still unsure of human intentions.She takes great comfort from her kennel companions, so Lacey will need a home with a kind and confident resident dog who can offer reassurance and help guide her as she learns about life in a home and begins to build her confidence.As Lacey has never lived in a home environment, she will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently support her with all aspects of home life, including house training. She is not yet comfortable walking on a lead, so this will need to be introduced slowly and positively over time. To begin with, she may benefit from quiet, secure garden time where she can explore at her own pace.Lacey has shown some guarding behaviours around food and treats with other dogs, so she will need a home that is aware of this and can ...
