Leon

Leon is a timid and sensitive Greyhound who can feel unsure in new situations and is slowly learning to navigate the world at his own pace. He is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor. Leon will need to live in a home with another dog, ideally a Greyhound or a calm Lurcher. We have seen that Leon manages much better when he has a canine companion alongside him, particularly when out walking. This may not be possible for the first few weeks of getting him home but the presence of another dog helps him to feel more secure. Leon is a very worried boy who becomes easily overwhelmed, he will need very calm, patient and understanding owners. He will need to be allowed to move forward at his own pace, without any pressure. It is important for prospective new owners to understand that, initially, Leon may not show much engagement or affection, and this is completely normal for him.
