23-03-26 Libby has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a very special home where she can begin to feel safe and understood. She is a very worried little lady who has never lived in a home or had any previous training, so she is understandably overwhelmed by her new surroundings and unsure of people and their intentions. It is clear that Libby has had very little socialisation in her past, but she is trying her very best to be brave.At the moment, Libby finds handling very worrying. With slow and gentle handling she will come around in her own time and will tolerate some interaction, even approaching for a little scratch once she feels safe. However, she can spook at fast movements or loud noises, and in high-pressure situations such as the vets or close handling, she may panic and make the wrong decision.
