Hi, I’m Lisa, and I’m a gentle girl who likes to take life at my own pace while I figure the world out. I’m an ex-racing greyhound, so a home is something completely new to me, but I’m curious and I enjoy exploring new spaces with my nose leading the way. I’m not the boldest dog straight away, but once I feel comfortable you’ll see my sweet nature shine through.I do enjoy affection, especially when it’s calm and relaxed, though sometimes I get a little distracted by all the interesting things going on around me. When I’m unsure, I tend to tuck myself away or slow down rather than make a fuss, so having patient humans who understand that I just need a moment will help me feel safe. I’ve been very good for all my handling and vet checks, and I’m happy to be brushed too.Toys didn’t really make much sense to me during my assessment, but I’m very polite around food and treats and I’m happy to share.
