Louie

Louie is everything you might imagine an Australian Shepherd to be: incredibly intelligent, full of energy and equipped with some very strong working instincts! These qualities make him a wonderfully engaging young dog, but they also mean he needs a home that understands what makes this breed tick. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid of a little project and is excited by the prospect of helping a young dog reach his full potential. His biggest challenge is separation anxiety. Louie currently finds being left alone extremely difficult, so we’re looking for a home where someone is around for the majority of the day to provide him with company and reassurance. Over time, his new companions will need to work gradually and positively on building his confidence and tolerance to being alone. We anticipate that ongoing support from a qualified behaviourist will be an important part of his journey, helping him make lasting progress with this behaviour. For all his energy and enthusiasm, ...
