Sweet Lucy is a petite and affectionate girl looking for a calm and loving home. She is a very bright girl who loves learning and engaging with her handlers. Lucy has already learnt her name in a very short space of time and is practising checking in on walks for tasty treats.Lucy would thrive with adopters who can continue building her confidence by choosing quiet walking areas where she won’t need to worry about encountering off-lead dogs. As a Greyhound who has spent all of her life in kennels, she can find busier environments overwhelming and would therefore prefer a quieter home and walking environment.Like many ex-racing greyhounds, Lucy arrived with us feeling a little stiff and uncomfortable, but she has made fantastic progress in our care. She is currently seeing a physiotherapist who is helping her continue to build strength and mobility.
