Are you right for Mae?Mae is a young Poodle cross with a sweet nature and a sheltered past. Having had little experience of everyday life, she is looking for an understanding home that can gently introduce her to the world at her own pace. A quieter residential or rural setting with minimal traffic would suit her best, as busy roads and bustling environments will feel overwhelming for now. Mae would love a secure garden of her own where she can safely explore, potter about and build confidence outdoors. She struggles when left alone and can become panicked and vocal, so she needs a household where someone is around for most of the day and where any time apart can be built up very gradually. She could happily live with another dog, as she is used to canine company and often settles well alongside them, and she could also live with sensible secondary school-aged children.
