Meet Maggie Our lovely little Dachshund girl, Maggie, is around three years old and full of character. As with many Dachshunds, she has her own little quirks, so she’s looking for an experienced owner who understands the breed and all their wonderfully stubborn, sensitive, loyal traits. Maggie can take a wee bit of time to build a proper bond. She likes to figure you out first and make sure she feels safe. But once she trusts you, that’s it — you’ve got a friend for life. Her loyalty runs deep, and she’ll be devoted to her person. She gets on well with other dogs out and about, but we do feel she would be best suited as the only dog in the home where she can have all the attention (as any spoiled princess would expect!). Maggie is looking for a home with children aged 16+ who can understand and respect her need for time to settle and build trust.
