Maggie is a gentle, sweet-natured greyhound who has recently returned to our care through no fault of her own. After seven happy years in a loving home, a change in her owner’s circumstances means she’s now searching for a quiet place to enjoy her golden years.At 11, Maggie is the definition of calm and easy-going. She doesn’t bark, travels well, and takes most things in her stride. Out and about, she’s not reactive to other dogs and still enjoys her walks, she is good with little dogs but can be a little nervous around bigger dogs.While Maggie is looking to be homed as an only dog, she could potentially live with a calm, older canine companion who respects her space and enjoys a similarly relaxed lifestyle.She would thrive in a peaceful, adult-only home—ideally with a retired couple who are home most of the time and enjoy a slower pace of life.
