Maisie

Maisie is a very sensitive girl and will need an experienced and patient owner. Her new home should ideally be quiet and must have a secure garden. Maisie would prefer company most of the time.Maisie is a bit nervous when first meeting new people, she will bark and pace when visitors come to the home. She can also be a bit snappy if people are overly familiar too quickly. But once she has had time to assess the situation and everyone has settled down, she relaxes and wants to sit on laps and get some attention. She is the same when meeting strangers outside; she usually ignores them if there is no interaction but if people stare at her or approach her too fast, she will bark at them.She is nervous of other dogs, especially when passing them on the street. If they get too close too fast she will bark at them. However, if she is introduced to a dog in a calm setting and given time to understand they are friendly, she will relax.
