Mallow

22-01-26 Mallow is an extremely sensitive boy who has come to us from a breeder. We are told that he is a Poodle cross and we believe this may be with a Bernese as he's quite a large boy, but we aren't sure. He is very flighty in his kennel when being handled and will need an experienced, adult-only home where he can learn about trust and companionship. Despite his fears of humans, he walks well on a lead and appears to have been taught this at some point in his life.

Mallow will need the confidence and support of a resident dog in the home to help him settle, gain confidence, and take him under their wing. He will need plenty of TLC and patience as he adjusts, as this does not seem to be something he has experienced much in the past.

As Mallow has never lived in a home environment, his adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he learns about house training. While he walks well on a lead, he may benefit from starting with gentle garden sniffs, in an extra secure garden, and...
