Mandarin

With people, Mandarin greets calmly and appropriately and is happy to make new friends. He enjoys gentle fuss, he is looking for a family that is understanding that he may take some time to warm up to more formal handling.Mandarin is enjoying his walks, taking in all the new smells at his own pace, he can sometimes pull on the lead as he takes everything in. He is still building confidence in new environments and can be a little unsure around unfamiliar sights and situations, but with a little patience he will explore and gradually settle. Regular, calm walks and continued positive exposure will help him grow in confidence.Around other dogs, Mandarin is currently underconfident. He has mixed on lead with a variety of dogs and can be intense during initial greetings, sometimes barking and then moving away.
