09-12-25 Sweet Melody has come to us from a breeder and is a gentle, docile girl who can be a little timid when meeting new people. With time and patience, she is slowly warming up to the friendly faces around her and showing us just how loving she truly is.Melody walks beautifully on a lead and enjoys quiet adventures where she can take in the world at her own pace. We are told she is an ex-racing dog and her ear tattoos confirm this. Because of her natural prey drive, she has been walked with a muzzle, but she has mingled politely with other dogs while wearing it and her adopters will need to continue this training. Due to her background and instincts, she cannot live with cats or small furries and will need to be the only dog in her new home. We are told that she has shown signs of food aggression towards humans and other dogs, but we have not experienced this in the rescue. She will continue to be monitored and assessed as she settles.She will need adopters who can remind her about...
