Meet Missy, our gorgeous black Greyhound with a heart of gold! This gentle girl has been an absolute joy to have at the centre, winning over everyone she meets with her sweet and affectionate nature. Missy is looking for a loving home where she can leave her racing days behind and enjoy the quieter things in life! Missy is a calm and loving girl who enjoys spending time with people. Although she can be a little worried at times, she has shown us just how quickly her confidence can blossom with a little patience and reassurance. As an ex-racing Greyhound, Missy has shown some chase behaviours towards wildlife and smaller dogs, although she has also demonstrated that she can calmly pass smaller dogs when out on walks and would be suited to living with dog of a similar size to her. Missy absolutely loves having the opportunity to stretch her legs in our secure paddocks, but is equally happy enjoying some quiet time and relaxing in her kennel.
