Mitzy is a sweet older lady who has come into our care through no fault of her own as her elderly owner moved into care and couldn't take her. She was briefly adopted, but the home wasn't the right fit for her and she is now back in our care.Mitzy is a very sweet girl, but she can be quite stubborn and knows her own mind. If she doesn't want to do something eg. get off the sofa or put a coat or harness on, then she can grumble and on occasion can snap. She has never made contact, but for this reason she will be looking for an adult only home, where there are no visiting children and with adopters who have experience with dogs with similar behaviours and who will take things slowly at her pace.She enjoys going for short walks and is happy to have her lead put on for this. She does enjoy a gentle stroke, but she isn't keen on being picked up and prefers to not be handled too much.
