Moose is a sensitive and gentle Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.Moose can find meeting new people worrying but once you spend some time with him and take it slow, he warms up to you quickly and is able to make friends and enjoy a gentle fuss. He is looking for new owners who can give him the time to come out of his shell at his own pace.A great way to make friends with Moose is by offering him a treat. He is a foody boy who will not turn his nose up at any type of treat that is offered to him. This can also be used as a motivating tool to help with his ongoing training.Although Moose does enjoy socialising with other dogs and did previously live with another dog before coming into our care, they didn’t get along so he is looking to be the only dog in the household. This will allow him to keep building up his confidence around other dogs. Moose will benefit from having some friendly and interactive walking buddies of a similar temperament...
