Nectar found himself with us as a stray at just 6 months old, and the big wide world can feel like a very scary place for this sensitive little chap. He is looking for someone who understands that confidence doesn’t grow overnight and is willing to take things slowly, patiently and consistently while he learns that the world isn’t quite as frightening as he thinks. Nectar absolutely loves his tasty treats and adores his toys, which are a wonderful way of helping him feel more comfortable and begin building friendships with his people. His adopters will need to be prepared to visit him several times at the centre, allowing him to build a relationship at his own pace before he is ready to take the next step of coming home. A safe and secure garden will be essential for Nectar. This will give him a safe space to explore while he continues to build his confidence in the outside world, as well as providing somewhere to support him with his housetraining.
