PALOMA the breton is in foster near Callington, East Cornwall. Found a stray on the roads in Spain, the gorgeous PALOMA has had a hard start to life. She is starting to settle into a home environment for the first time, although can find closed doors a little worrying. She seeks foster mum for reassurance in instances like this. The comfy beds are a big win to new life! She is already housetrained and living in the countryside with no concerns whilst walking passed horses and ponies in the nearby fields. She has been left for a couple of hours with no issues. She can be a little wary of meeting new people, but warms up to them when the prospect of treats are on the table. PALOMA jumps straight in the car and travels well. She is very happy around the other resident dogs and will share toys, treats and food. Foster mum has had some success with recall using high value treats when off lead in a secure dog park. As there are times when she doesn’t respond, more ongoing work needed. PALOMA...
