Peggy is a gorgeous girl looking for a new home where she can be the apple of someone’s eye and blossom into a relaxed and loving little pet. She is currently living with two other dogs and is finding it increasingly hard to share her space so her owner has made the heart-breaking decision to let her go so that she can thrive as someone’s loved one and only dog. Peggy is an affectionate and loving little dog once she gets to know you. She loves nothing better than snuggling up with her special humans on the sofa. Like many dachshunds, she has a big bark and can be vocal around strangers and unfamiliar visitors, but given time and space she will get to know anyone, especially if treats are involved! Like any dog, she needs to have her space respected and although she currently lives happily with young children, she nipped a stranger who tried to pick her up without warning.
