Penny has been in her foster home for just over two weeks, and in that short time, she’s blossomed in the most beautiful way. She’s settled into home life with a quiet grace, finding comfort and companionship in the resident male greyhound. The two have formed a lovely bond, and it’s clear that having another dog by her side helps Penny feel safe and secure. In the home, Penny is a dream. She’s fully housetrained, keeps her space clean, and has already shown how well she can cope when left alone for a couple of hours with her canine friend. More than anything, she simply lights up when her foster carer returns, a gentle reminder of how much love she has to give. The outside world is still a learning experience for Penny, and she’s taking it all in at her own pace. She enjoys calm, quiet walks where she can feel relaxed, as busy traffic and loud noises can still make her a little unsure.
