This handsome little chap is Pete and he is 8 years old.Sadly Pete's family were moving away and could not take Pete with them so he has found himself looking for his retirement sofa.Pete is an anxious little lad and it does take him some time to get used to new people and surroundings.Pete is not well socialised around other dogs and is anxious around them so would not like a new doggy friend to live with.He is not suitable to be rehomed around cats.Pete has been around children previously and may be ok again with children over 8 years old with the correct introductions.Pete is a greedy lad and does rather love his food so he will need to be kept an eye on for stealing :)Our Pete spent some time out of the kennels in the staff accommodation, here's what they say:“To start with he was a little shy but in no time at all he well and truly come out of his wee shell, it was lovely to see a different side to Pete out with our kennel environment.
