Polly was found straying along with another similar dog, but they were never reclaimed and it is most likely that they were simply abandoned. Polly is a sensitive dog who is very shy & will need a lot of time & patience to learn people mean her no harm. It is likely that she may have had some less than kind treatment in her past life, but consistent and loving handling will soon build her confidence.Polly is not used to living with cats or small pets, and given her sighthound genes, would be quite likely to chase them She is good with other dogs. Polly has no long term history so we would not wish to place her with children under 10 years.Because she is so shy - we feel she would be best placed in a home with another kind & confident dog to be her mentor Having been unwanted at such an early age does mean that Polly is likely to have missed out on early training, so her adopters will need to be ready to help her catch up, and training classes will be an essential part of that process a...
