Polly

Polly is a frightened girl who has come into our care from a breeder. She will not yet approach us and will initially run away from us, but once she is safely settled in our arms, she is okay to handle. Polly will also spin around her kennel when people are nearby, showing us just how worried she is feeling at the moment. Polly will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who will allow her to settle in at her own pace. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy teenagers aged 16+. She relies on other dogs for comfort and reassurance and so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding while she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training.
