Are you right for Polo?Polo is a big, lovable Mastiff with an even bigger heart. This gentle giant came into our care as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery. Because of this, Polo may need help with the basics, including housetraining, and any time spent alone will need to be built up gradually in his new home. For such a large lad, Polo walks very nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out and about with his handlers. He’s a bit of a goofy character too, sometimes he forgets just how big he is and may accidentally bump into people when he’s feeling playful or excited! Because of his size and enthusiasm, Polo would be best suited to a home with confident children aged 11+ who are comfortable around big, slightly bolshy dogs. Polo is a clever boy who already knows some basic commands and is eager to keep learning.
