Are you right for Pooky? Pooky is a striking 2.5-year old Frenchie X Dachshund who loves people and enjoys fuss, greeting you with her trademark bouncy wiggle. Pooky is looking to be the only dog in the home, and would prefer to go for walks in less dog populated areas but has great focus on her handler. Pooky is looking for a family that are willing to continue her great work and progress around other dogs, as she is doing really well at passing dogs at a respectable distance with little to no reaction. Pooky is looking to live with secondary school aged children who are confident with her excitable play style. The Dachshund side of her means she can be vocal when she's left alone for too long, so a family who is able to be around a lot of the time would be ideal for her at first so she can build up those leaving hours slowly.
