Abandoned on the streets, she was picked up by dog catchers and taken to a kill shelter in Romania. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to safety, where she later had puppies—though heartbreakingly, none survived. Through it all, Poppy has remained wonderfully balanced, secure, and full of life.Born in 2021 and weighing 34.2kg, Poppy is a tall, striking girl with a zest for life that’s impossible to miss. She arrived at Islay Dog Rescue in February, and from the moment she stepped off the transport, it was as though she had always belonged.
