Meet Poppy. A truly special soul who has been through so much and is now ready to find her forever home. When Poppy came to us, she was in a terrible state. She was painfully thin, frightened and unfortunately she was heavily pregnant. Shortly after arrival, she had her puppies and was the most wonderful mum to them. As soon as they were old enough to fly the nest, Poppy moved to a wonderful foster home where she could receive all the love and care she needed as she started to regain her health, gain much needed weight and learn all about love.Before moving to her foster home, Poppy had never been inside a home, so everything was brand new and scary for her, but she has settled in incredibly well and is now mostly relaxed inside the home, sleeps through the night and is now house trained, though may need some reminders as she settles in to her new home.Poppy is very sweet and gentle and has learned that humans can be kind and now seems to love human attention and enjoys being stroked, ...
