Hi there, I’m Pugsley! I’ve been told I have the softest ears and the most soulful eyes. After a busy career on the track, I’ve decided to retire my racing jacket and dedicate my life to the important work of being a beloved pet. I’m a lean, quiet companion who loves a good sunbeam, a soft blanket, and a gentle head scratch. The lovely staff say I’m incredibly sweet and eager to please, and I get along famously with everyone I meet—people and other dogs too!I have a big heart, which means I can get a little anxious when I’m left all alone. I love human company so much that when I’m on my own I get really worried! I’m not destructive; I will whine or bark because I miss you. My ideal home is one where my humans are around most of the time—maybe you work from home, are retired, or can take me with you wherever you go. I’ll need a patient family committed to helping me feel safe and secure with positive reinforcement techniques. My new pawrents will need to have experience in owning dogs ...
