Quail

Quail has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was very overwhelmed to find herself with us. She was unsure of people and clearly wasn't used to much handling or socialisation. She was happy to accept a gentle fuss, but was clearly very worried about it and would rely heavily on the company of her kennel friends for reassurance and comfort. She has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is getting to experience home life for the first time ever. She is still a very nervous girl who has found moving into a foster home quite overwhelming. She initially spent much of her time hiding underneath the bushes in the garden, but has gradually become confident enough to explore the garden. She is still very wary when a person appears and will retreat back towards the bushes to hide, but once she is there, she will allow her fosterer, and even other people, to gently stroke her, pick her up and carry her back inside.
