REINA, 9 year old breton was kept in appalling conditions in Spain as a hunters dog. She and her kennel mate (TRUFA) lived in a cramped, faeces filled pen with no water or human interaction. We had to take the both of them. She arrived into her foster home near Sleaford, Lincolnshire and felt the touch of kindness for the first time in her life. She is the sweetest, gentlest girl ever. A bit of a velcro girl, her nose always finding foster mum’s hand as she moves around. We think she has regularly been beaten and done little else other than have pups. REINA just wants to be your best friend. She walks nicely on a lead. Enjoys the free time afforded to her by going to the secure field, where she checks in regularly putting her nose in foster mum’s hand. She listens, does her very best to please and follow instruction. Sleeps downstairs with the other dogs and very excited to see foster mum in the morning. Just the easiest girl to live with.
