19-02-26 Rifton has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her very own forever home. She is a sweet little girl, but understandably is feeling quite scared and overwhelmed to find herself here. It is clear that she hasn’t had much socialisation before, so she will need plenty of love, patience and gentle reassurance as she learns that human hands are kind and that there is nothing to fear. With time and understanding, we are sure her true personality will begin to shine through.Rifton would be best suited to a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience of nervous ex-breeding dogs and understand that progress may be slow but incredibly rewarding. She could be homed with older, dog-savvy teenagers who will respect her need for space and a gentle approach.She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help show her the way and give her reassurance as she settles.
