Rio is looking for a quiet home where he can have company most of the time and a garden to potter around in. He could be the perfect fit for a retired couple.Rio has mitral valve disease and it would be great if his new home had experience of this (or heart disease in general) in dogs. This condition would be covered by Dog Aid Scotland under the Old Dog Scheme in Rio’s new home to alleviate the financial worry of vet care and give Rio the best chance at finding a loving retirement home.*Rio can be a grumpy old man when strangers enter the home and he growls a bit, but then he settles quickly.Rio is actually a very loving dog, he loves to sit on your lap on the sofa.
