Rocky

Rocky is a cuddly little boy who enjoys sitting on someone’s knee and having a fuss. He is a little more nervous than Bruce, the other dachshund rescued alongside him, and will need a family who understands that he may take time to build confidence and settle into his new surroundings. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t love fun and games running around the paddock with his new dachshund friends though! We know very little about Rocky’s previous life or what training he may have received. His new family will need to be patient and prepared to go right back to basics, potentially treating him much like a puppy as he learns about life as a loved family pet. Gentle encouragement, consistency and lots of kindness will be key to helping him flourish. Rocky has been vet-checked and is in good health, although he is currently a little underweight.
