Rupert is an enthusiastic American Bulldog based at Battersea Old Windsor. Rupert enjoys the company of other dogs but is looking to be the only dog in the home as he can find more animated dogs overwhelming. We have put some training in place to help with this, and this will need to be continued in the home.He will be best suited to a calm and quiet household as loud and busy environments can overwhelm him and cause him to become over excitable.He has lots of energy, loving running around and playing with his favourite toys.Rupert loves people and he is very eager to meet new human friends, but some times he does sometimes need to be reminded to have some manners. Rupert has been very stressed in kennels and struggled with the kennel environment. His new owners will need to understand that there will be a period of time when he first goes home where he will need to be given the time and space to decompress.
