Shadow

Meet our gorgeous ex racing greyhound, Shadow!Shadow is a very cheeky boy has been super friendly to our staff and volunteers since he came in to our care. With him being an ex racer, he does have a high prey drive so can try to chase squirrels whilst out for his walks! He is paired in his kennel with another greyhound who he is quite confident with and will walk well with other greyhounds, but does seem unsure around other breeds of dogs and will be quite vocal towards them. We feel he would benefit from further training and socialisation to help him to build his confidence around other dogs.Shadow will have spent most of his life in kennels with his racing background, so he may feel a little nervous going in to a home environment. We also do not know if he is house trained or toilet trained due to this. He loves to lie in his comfy beds after his walks – we sometimes catch him upside down showing his belly off!We think Shadow would prefer to be the only dog in the home, with him bein...
