Hello there, I’m Sid — a gentle, graceful ex-racing greyhound who’s traded the fast track for a slower pace of life, and I must say, I’m rather enjoying it. After years of running, I’m now learning what it means to truly relax — soft beds, kind people, and quiet moments are my idea of heaven.I’m a calm, affectionate boy who loves spending time with my humans. My favourite thing in the world is to rest my head gently on your lap while you stroke my ears — I find it so comforting, and I might even close my eyes and sigh with contentment. I’m polite and patient, the kind of dog who moves at his own easy pace. You’ll never find me rushing; I’m much more of a “let’s take it slow” kind of lad.I’ve been told I’m very well-mannered when it comes to things like grooming and vet visits. I stand nicely for brushing (which feels rather lovely, if I’m honest) and I’m happy to be handled or checked over.
