Sirius

Sirius is a handsome 6-year-old liver and white Springer Spaniel, looking for a home where he can truly relax and enjoy being a dog. He thrives on human interaction and forms strong bonds with those around him. Sirius is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when close to his people. He settles well in a home environment and is friendly with visitors, often carrying one of his 2 beloved soft toys for reassurance, when he feels unsure or excited. Sirius is intelligent, active, and strives hard to please. He really enjoys gundog-style activities, retrieval games, scent work, and learning new skills. He responds especially well to kind, reward-based training using toys, food, clickers, and whistles. Sirius has had some difficult experiences with other dogs after being attacked on two separate occasions, which understandably left him feeling worried around unfamiliar dogs while out walking.
