Sixpence

Sixpence is a nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder. She isn’t brave enough to approach you just yet, but she is easy to handle once she is in your arms. We have now learnt that she is trying so hard to be brave and, although she is still quite nervous, we are seeing little bits of her cheeky Daxi personality coming through every day. Sixpence seems to have had very little positive touch or affection before coming to us. She has recently moved in to foster and is happy to take treats from her foster parents but is not quite sure about being stroked yet. She will allow them to put her harness on as long as she is in a quiet corner and things are taken slowly. You can tell she isn't entirely comfortable, but she trusts us enough to allow it and is always very happy to enjoy a little cheese reward afterwards!
